| The Vorpal Tribble11-27-06, 09:34 PM | Alright, I just had a character cast Clinging Darkness from Tomb of Magic on the current encounter focus. Three other players were also in its limits. They all failed the save, the bad guy made the save. Now all the players are trying to do is get out of the dark. However, by the words, how exactly do they do this? It takes a full-round action to make the save to stop being held by it. How can they use a move action to get out if the entire round was filled escaping it? The next round they'll just have to go through it all over again. Whats the point in the save? Now that I read it even more in depth I think I might see a glimmer of hope. Is what happens is if they make a save this round they can make another standard save and if it is successful they can act as normal? Thats still a pain in the arcane but at least its feasible. |
