I remember seeing a +1 armor bonus that gives a -10% arcane spell failure, but can't remember where. Can anyone help me, name and book?

Arms and Equipment or BoED.

Its like Moonlight armor, or something like Moon____.

Twilight, from the Book of Exalted Deeds. It might be in the Arms & Equipment Guide too, but I don't recall.

Off the top of my head (I don't have AEG memorized, yet ;)) I'm going to say "Moonglow Armor. Its a special material though, not an enhancement (I think, otherwise it would have made it into my weapon and armor excel sheet).

Twilight is the armor enchantment to reduce ASF, Blended Quartz is the material. I personally find Twilight a little overpowered (should be 5% per +1, IMO), but Blended Quartz is really nice. Doubles the weight of the armor, that alone is a major balancing factor to anybody that uses ASF, as they usually have STR as a dump stat.

Often true, but not the vast majority of cases I don't think. A spellcaster in medium or heavy armor can go up to a higher weight allowance limit, seeing as how the armor already reduces their movement.

I have a spellcaster in a Twilight +1 Mithril Fullplate. With my strength(11), I could've obtained the Blended Quartz armor (100 pds) and still have just enough for my Wizardly essentials. Blended Quartz is much better than Twilight, IMO, and any spellcaster intent on obtaining it won't have too much trouble getting around the setbacks. Twilight enchantment is one less enchantment that could've gone to something else. (Notably Heavy Fortification)
