1001 Innovative Uses for a Spell [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-15-06, 02:08 PM Hey all, I am inspired by the uses of prestidigitation thread, and wanted to create a more general thread for awesome and untraditional ways of using other spells.

I'll start off..

1. Cast enlarge person and then permanency to help out someone that wants to be taller (dwarf, gnome, halfling, aspiring basketball star..)

2. Create an amusement ride by using any suitable telekenesis spell to launch people high into the air and then casting feather fall on them.

3. Win at poker through suggestion! You might need a lot of snake tongue though.. and perhaps silent spell to bypass the verbal component.

4. Travelling zoos thank to summon monster and nature's ally!

5. Get hot girls to caper about thanks to irresistible dance.

6. Run a scam by sending in insect swarms into a house and then showing up as local pest control. You can then just dismiss the swarm. Easy money!

8: Prestidigitation as a painless alternative to shaving.

9: Scholar's Touch is handy for cheating on tests in wizarding school. :)

10: Make an item of Shocking Grasp to use as a bug zapper.

09-15-06, 05:07 PM 11. Hire five or six sorcerers, make sure they all know Dancing Lights, Ghost Sound, Open/Close, Mage Hand, and Prestidigitation. Go to a town where arcane magic is rare and rent the oldest place in town. Boom - instant haunted house. Add admission, stir lightly; serves ten.

Cast "Continual Flame" on a bush. Then, set a "Ventriliqousm" spell to tell everyone that passes by that it is the voice of the local god.
