Ebonarc 06-11-07, 10:58 PM	I was looking over the description of the suggestion spell recently, and I thought about all the havoc one could potentially wreak with the spell. Then I had another thought. Unless you have exactly the right phrase for the situation, the spell is virtually useless. The purpose of this thread is to create a collection of suggestion phrases to be used for specific situations. Give the situation, and then the suggestion to get out of it. 1. Situation: The guards at the city gate believe your party is the one that the evil baron they serve is looking for. The suggestion: "We aren't the adventurers you're looking for. We can move along." (A :cookie: to whoever identifies the inspiration for that) 2. Situation: Your party is faced with a dragon, hunting for a gem stolen for its hoard, and the evil rogue that told him your party stole it. The suggestion: (to the dragon): "That guy (the rogue) is a dangerous thief we are after! HE probably stole the gem and is playing us against each other!"

I don't understand that situation, and from what I do understand, I don't understand the effect. 4. Situation: You have been polymorphed into an aquatic elf, or you are one, and you have just been ambushed by a gang of sahuagin. The suggestion: "I am not an aquatic elf, you idiots! I'm a mutant sahuagin!"

The suggestion: "That guy (one of the enemies, preferably one different than the others) is a disguised doppleganger, and he wants to kill you!" 6. Situation: You have just come upon the evil baron's tax collectors, and their wagon is loaded with money. The suggestion: "We are the king's agents. The baron's lands and property are being confiscated, and we are here to impound that wagon!"
