My entire party owns one of each and we now call the wizard Heward the convienant. Does anybody else known any Heward's items? or Lets make a list of Heward's convient items. 1. Heward's Lethal Pillow Cost: 100gp Effect: This white and fluffy pillow with runes on the trimming allows users to sleep 5 hours instead of 8 in order to regain spells or hitpoints. At a command word however the pillow becomes rock hard and can be used as a weapon dealing 1d6 blugeoning dmg with no proficiency in pillows nesscery. Great for the lazy late night watchmen. |

(Item is expended) -Acts as a message spell when given as a gift (only one message availiable, no charge is expended) -Grants a +1 circumstance bonus to a rogue making a sleight of hand check when making a copy of a key or similar item. (1 charge used) Heward has ingrained a great variety of uses and powers in this seemingly innocuous item which has not fully been examined. It could be considered an artifact or a relic since it is able to mask its magic aura from even the most powerful attemps to detect it. |
| Yodaman2301-16-07, 02:54 PM | That soap is surprisingly convientient. |
| Thiez01-16-07, 02:58 PM | I like the soap. Who can make up Hewards Rat Flail? :P |
| Ozzymandias01-16-07, 03:11 PM | Heward's Handy Rat Flail This item appears, at first glance, to be a wand made of some exotic wood. Hanging from the end is collection of three chains holding small, brown-colored balls. Upon closer inspection, however, it is revealed this this expensive looking flail is nothing more than a stick with a couple of rats attached to the end of it. The rats themselves are curled up into the fetal position, with their tails nailed into the stick. The flail/wand exudes a stench that would make an otyugh wince. The weapon is a +1 rat bane flail. It can only deal non-lethal damage. The 'bane' element applies to dire rats, rats, rat swarms, cranium rats, wererats and any other creature that exhibits strictly rat-like qualities. 1/day the wielder can summon forth a swath of rats - 1d4+1 rat swarms appear and follows the wielder's commands for 1 minute. Moderate WTF???; CL whatever; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, summon swarm, caster must have been traumatized by a rat as a child; Price: who would buy this thing?; Weight 5lbs |
| RobbyPants01-16-07, 03:26 PM | Heward's Handy 11 Foot Pole This item functions exactly like the 10 foot pole found in the PHB, except that it has a reach of 11 feet. Faint Transmutation; CL 5; Craft Wondrous Items, Warp Wood; Price: 10gp; Weight 5lbs |

| RavenDrake01-16-07, 08:31 PM | Hewards Belt of Utility This heavy yellow leather belt, filled with small pouches, has an ammount of non-demensional storage space equivilent to a Type I bag of holding, but can hold only relatively small objects. It can, however, also hold any light thrown weapon or any type of ammunition. Because of the enchantment of belt, retriving a specific object from the belt is a move action, though amunition can be retrived as a free action. Neither of these actions provokes attacks of opportunity. | Ozzymandias01-17-07, 12:38 AM | Actually this powerful item should be condidered holy since it was obviously designed to combat lawyers... and by extension rules lawyers. Is this the start of a new religion? 'Cause I'm in! |
| Yodaman2301-17-07, 04:18 PM | Are you sure that lawyers have a soul? |
| Penchant_Conjurer01-17-07, 11:06 PM | Of course not. They cannot be raised or resurrected. But they may reform after 99 years in one of the hells. |
| M.E. Charm01-18-07, 04:03 AM | Heward's Handy Lawyercase This small 20"x15" leather box always has the appropiate bureaucratic forms and documents. When openening, the user must think of the specific document that is needed, which will then appear inside. This means the document can only be in a language the user can speak. Opening the box is a move-action which provokes an attack of oppertunity and requires a DC15 concentration check, or the box will remain empty. A DC35 Sense Motive check or Detect Magic will reveal the scam. Only ten documents can appear at once; once an eleventh document is removed from the box the first one will disappear. Faint Divination and Transmutation; CL 6th; Craft Wondrous Item, Detect Thoughts, Secret Page; Price: 300gp/hour |

| Penchant_Conjurer01-18-07, 12:16 PM | Heward's Handy Door Knob This small item too all effect looks like a door knob. But when placed on a flat object it creates a doorway mesuring six feet in hight by 3 feet wide. It will pass 6 feet wood or 3 feet of stone or 1 foot of steel. This is excellent. Allow me to embellish. Price 16,200gp works on wood, plaster or stone up to 9 feet in thickness. Creates a similare knob on the other side of the object to be passed through and when either knob is pulled from the "door", the other disappears as does the effect. The doors remain in place for up to 9 hours after which the orginal knob drops to the ground and the effect ends. Requirements: Craft Wondrous Item, Passwall, Caster level 9th. |
