I found a book that is in 2.0e for spells but i can't seem to figure out the casting time. So if some one could help me out it would be great!

Edit:
Volume Three Wizard's Spell Compendium
spells have a casting time of things like 1 turn, and 1 round

:b:A suggestion for how it could work.

Most spells in 2ed had a speed factor or a number you added to your initiative roll. I would make these a 1 standard action type spell.

All the other just leave as they are. If it takes 1 round, than it take both your move and standard action to cast. Just like summon spells

A *Turn* is equal to 10 rounds or 1 minute.

Hope this helps

DemonMonkeyBoy has it right, this is the way 2nd ed. spellcasting times were converted to 3rd ed. using the conversion manual out at that time. :)
