| Thiez06-07-07, 05:24 PM | "While the light is illuminated" Huh? While light shines on the light? I don't know about the rest of the forum, but I doubt anyone will seriously playtest any of these invocations. We'll just look at them, whisper the magic words, and come up with our best judgement. I think many of your invocations take away the fun of being able to do them 'at will'. I don't like (and this is my personal opinion) how you 'balance' invocations by attaching a 24-hour immunity to a succesful saving throw, or limiting their frequency of use. Suffocating Sphere seems to be a Reflex save-or-die, is that correct? |

| Thiez06-09-07, 06:24 PM | Okay, don't tell anyone... The secret is to stick your fingers in your ears, close your eyes, and scream LALALALALALALA! This provides the inspiration to properly judge spells. Off course, at times we will compare new spells with other spells, consider gameplay impact, and run some test scenarios in our heads. But the above is definitelly the most important part of judging. |
