I foolishly sold off most of my 2nd Ed material to finance my foray in 3rd Ed (had I known that 3.5 was in the works 2 days after 3.0 I would have held off). Now I need to convert a few spells from 2nd to 3.5 and, of course, do not have their source material. If anyone could lend an old school gamer a hand I'd appreciate it.

The first spell is insatiable thirst, the second sunray, the third sunscorch, and the fourth and final is sunbeam. Thanks in advance.

I never paid much attention to 2e's spell mechanics, but sunbeam (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/sunbeam.htm) is in the Player's Handbook.

It's similar to Searing Light (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/searingLight.htm), which may be the 3e revision of one of your old spells (not sure on that point).

I also do not have all the old books, but if you describe what these spells could do it is entirely possible that they have been reprinted and updated but with different names. Or at least, similar spells would probably exist.

smrtgmp created a thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-541708.html) awhile back and created "A homebrew update to an old classic" for Insatiable Thirst. I just found it through Google.
