| ReaperWolf12-11-07, 03:19 PM | what's the purpose of the item ? Back in AD&D 1e/2e, the pouch functioned like pared down version of the belt of many pockets in the D&D 3.5 Complete Arcane tome. If memory serves the pouch was like a small bag of holding type I. The interior of the bag was lined with 8 or 16 small pockets each one holding 1 lb/1 cu. ft. of material. I'm using the aforementioned magical belt as a template for converting the item into 3.0/3.5 but I'd prefer an official source if one's available. Seasons greetings! >>ReaperWolf |

| Mad_Jack12-12-07, 12:39 PM | If I remember right, the pouch was essentially the belt of many pockets. I think the pouch ended up being re-writen as the belt in 3rd ed. |
| ReaperWolf12-12-07, 02:35 PM | Another take would be the deep pockets spell, has this appeared in a 3.0/3.5 source yet? If memory serves this was a 2nd or 3rd level spell, significantly lower than Leomund's tiny chest which is 5th level. Still, it'll still need locate object so the user can avoid provoking attacks of opportunity while retrieving stuff from the pouch. >>ReaperWolf |
