| Harmor07-31-04, 09:46 PM | If you cast Warp Wood (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/theraven_stephenh/spells/Warp_Wood.html) on someone's weapon, do you use the Will save of the object OR the person wielding it? Saving Throw: Will negates (object) |
| Vorm07-31-04, 10:02 PM | Whichever one is better. In this case, probably the wielder. This is for any object that isn't "tended" to. At least thats what I think... |
| Egres07-31-04, 10:37 PM | From the SRD: (object): The spell can be cast on objects, which receive saving throws only if they are magical or if they are attended (held, worn, grasped, or the like) by a creature resisting the spell, in which case the object uses the creature’s saving throw bonus unless its own bonus is greater. (This notation does not mean that a spell can be cast only on objects. Some spells of this sort can be cast on creatures or objects.) A magic item’s saving throw bonuses are each equal to 2 + one-half the item’s caster level. |
