The bracer must be worn on an arm that is free to move, so you can wear it on your weapon arm or on an arm with a buckler, but not with a shield larger than a buckler. You may wear the bracer while wielding a two-handed weapon. Faint abjuration; CL 7th; Craft Wondrous Item, protection from arrows (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/theraven_stephenh/spells/Protection_from_Arrows.html); Price 12,000 gp. |

Are you envisioning the bracer "blocking" the arrows / ranged weapons, a la Wonder Woman, or 2. Do the bracers simply activate the spell of the same name? If the former (a la Wonder Woman), I would suggest the following changes: 1. It *cannot* be used while wielding a two-handed weapon. 2. Lower the price by 30% because it is using limited functionality of the spell. New price: 8,400gp. (Note: This is because you require a free arm.) If the latter (bracer of spell), I would suggest the following changes: 1. Remove the free arm requirement. 2. Make it a pair of bracers. Either method / delivery works fine in my game, although I'm leaning toward the former (Wonder Woman) version. This is a defensive concept, and I see it being more suitable for armor-restricted classes. :D |
