Seeker95 09-08-04, 07:13 PM	Anything you want from the familiar table, as long as your DM is allowing it. Familiars are size dependent only for Tiny (or smaller) or Huge (or larger) masters.

A small caster can have a familiar the same size as a medium caster can. I fail to see why they couldn't, honestly.
tarkin 09-09-04, 01:09 PM	There is a "soft" rule that familiars be smaller than there masters. (By that I mean, WoTC seems to think they said it, but they never actually did.) WoTC has discussed several times familiars for non-medium sized casters, each time listing creatures that were smaller than normal for the small ones and Larger than normal but not as large as the Master for the larger wizards. Tome and Blood listed them as well as a Dragon article.
