I was wondering about the viel that stops spells. Can spells be cast out of the warded area? If not, any ideas for how the character can attack enemies outside the ward? Like maybe summoning creatures, then sending them out and so forth.
Thanks

I dont think so, It acts exactly as a prismatic wall does, if you want to attack an enemy maybe... a bow would help? I dunno.

No, I don't think that it's exactly like the prismatic wall.

Firstly, you can't force a creature to touch a warding.

Secondly, the wardings are not opaque. You CAN see through them, without hindrance.

Third, come on! It has the most crappy requirements I've ever seen in a prestige class! The Feats, for example!!!!!!!!!Spell Focus (abjuration), Greater spell focus (abjuration), Skill focus (spellcraft)

Fourth, if the veils were exactly like the prismatic wall's layers then this PC should've been named 'INITIATE OF THE SEVENFOLD LAYER! :P

So I'd say that the indigo veil stops spells that try to harm you, but you can still use spells.

You're weak initially, but strong afterwards. A fair trade.
