7th level cleric casting hold person [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-23-06, 02:36 AM what would the DC for this be, and can you teach me how to find out on my own :D

im not sure where to start. I know it's a will save but the PHB doesn't mention a DC.

03-23-06, 02:47 AM The save DCs for your spells, as a cleric, are 10 + spell level + your wisdom modifier. For hold person (3rd level spell iirc), it would be 10 + 3 + wis mod. Let's assume you have a wisdom of 18, for a +4 modifier. Then your DC would be 10 + 3 (spell level) + 4 (wis mod), for a total of 17.
