07-08-04, 01:47 PM My Abjurer is looking for a 9th level Abjuration spell. I already have Mordenkainen's Disjunction, and Prismatic Sphere looks like a pretty decent option but not quite what I was hoping for, and the Freedom & Imprisonment pair are less inspiring for the short term. Does anyone have any ideas for a 9th level Abjuration from a non PHB source, or any concepts for a new 9th level spell? (My DM would be likely to accept a well-made custom spell. He makes some for my campaign too.)

A sampling of Abjurations I already have:

6th - Greater Dispel Magic, Repulsion, Antimagic Field
7th - Energy Immunity, Dimensional Lock
8th - Mind Blank, Protection from Spells
9th - Mordenkainen's Disjunction

We're nearing the end of the campaign, and the party is preparing for an assault on the BBEG. We're expecting an epic cleric/wizard and an epic dragon to be among the enemies of most concern.

07-08-04, 02:58 PM I don't want to sound smart or anything, but what does it do other than look cool? It's on the Sor/Wiz list, right?

07-08-04, 04:55 PM Absorption - Absorb energy from spells for use in casting spells. T&B
Elminster's Effulgent Epuration - Creates one sphere/level that negates hostile magic. MoF
Maw of Chaos - Area energy damages creatures, disrupts concentrations. SS/MoF
Unbinding - Destroys binding spells within 180-ft. DoF

Have fun. Kill them all.
