Alright, the lack of high level buffs has forced me to improvise. So here you go. Is this realy a level 9? Is it too powerful? Another spell do the same thing? Tell me now!

Eternal Power
Transmutation
Level: Cleric 9
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Living Creature Touched
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

Energy from beyond surges through the target, granting them the power of the gods. The spell grants the subject a +8 enhancement bonus to strength. In addition, the subject is almost impossible to kill. Reducing the subject to negative hit points does not kill it until the spell’s duration expires. At –50hp and every 50hp below that, the subject must make a fortitude save DC 15 +5 for each past check or die from massive damage. (Thus a character reduced to –200 would need to make a save DC 30) This spell does not protect against death from massive damage or from death attacks.

you should include (harmless) after the yes on the spell resistance line too.

I like the spell, I think that the second effect might be a little strong, even for a 9th level spell, but what the heck... it is 9th level.... so I can't complain too much.

I might consider adding the Divine Focus component to it as well, but its not realy a big deal.

No, you can't. ;)

Double Done.

Well, you're generally fairly safe in making a ninth-level personal spell since the most similar spell for the purposes of comparison is shapechange...

Looks fine to me. Maybe even a little underpowered.
Biggest "abuse" possible with it would be to divine metamagic it with persistant spell. If they did that, it would give them:
+2 Strength vs using a Belt of Giant Strength
The ability to be lazy about your healing - after all, you still gotta heal up before it expires.

And if they decide to let their healing slide for a while, they can now be insta-killed by dispell magic.

It's not terrible by any means, but it's definitely not overpowered, IMO.
