| Vaalingrade Ashland08-24-05, 05:59 PM | No. |
| Radijs08-24-05, 06:19 PM | By the RAW its not mentioned as a possibilty. Shapechange does mention ghosts which is a template. I dont see any reason why you couldn't use templates in your changes, I mean as long as you're familliar with them right? |
| Lord shadow3508-24-05, 06:28 PM | No, there is no way you can get a template from shapechage. |
| Coffee08-24-05, 07:05 PM | From a book that left out tree frogs meaning you can't turn into one? There is nothing wrong with choosing a race with a template applied to it. The complicated part is what to do with the physical ability scores. |
| Lawrence08-24-05, 08:56 PM | by part of the RAW, it's not possible as shapechange links off polymorph which links off alter self.... However, several books, primarily ones like the monster manuals, make more and more templates from monsters that previously weren't templates. :P So there are two options. 1) allow templates to be chosen for forms, and use the level adjustment as an HD booster for purposes of determining limits 2) Ignore extended books with new 'templates' or else you can only turn into he original template creature (so you can become a ghost as long as you choose the ghost monster). 3) secret option: tylenol. |
