| mountainviking04-15-06, 02:16 PM | Is it just me, or should a Monk's unarmed damage go up one die size for the extra damage a skilled fighter could do with a stone fist???? |
| smrtgmp04-15-06, 02:35 PM | *shrugs* Maybe it should, but it doesnt. |
| Vaelan04-16-06, 03:29 AM | Attacking with the stone fist is a slam attack, not an unarmed strike. |
| Gemcaster04-16-06, 04:39 AM | the actual text is "you gain the ability to make one slam attack as a standard action", it says nothing about replacing your unarmed damage, it meerly turns your fist into rock, "your fist undergoes no change in size or form, remaining as flexible and responsive as it would normally be under the spell's effect". |
| reff4204-16-06, 04:58 AM | which actually allows a monk to get an additional attack with a full attack. (just as if the monk had a bite or tail whip attack) |
| mountainviking04-16-06, 01:16 PM | which actually allows a monk to get an additional attack with a full attack. (just as if the monk had a bite or tail whip attack) Really?? So he could take it as a secondary, -5 to hit attack with one swing at full BAB, or two (adding another -2 to each) in a flurry???? |
| smrtgmp04-16-06, 06:43 PM | yup. just keep in mind that those secondary attacks will be at a total of -7 (-2 from flurry, -5 from secondary attack). |
