| HomelessCaptain01-30-07, 07:14 PM | So I want to make weapons and armor in an airtight place (don't ask). ;) I need a fire with my forge, but that would take up all the oxygen and eventually die out. I need either a Bottle of Air or something like a permanent Heat Metal spell on my forge. Both, I think, have implications. The Bottle of Air would supply oxygen forever, but the fire would burn and some other material would come from it. I don't know exactly what, but if I continuously add matter into my airtight forge area, then it will fill up with some matter. Ashes, maybe, I dunno. The permanent heat metal has problems too. My airtight space would continue to heat up indefinitely and the whole place would become searing hot. Now, the only solution I have thought of is to use some sort of permanent heat metal object AND have a permanent chill metal object nearby. The temperatures cancel each other out, and no extra matter is introduced. That way, I can make weapons and armor in my airtight forge area. Does anyone have any better ideas? Because I could really use them. Thanks. :D |

If you're a player trying to come up with this, then you ask your DM for a quest to find such a forge. If he says there is none to be found, then there is also none to be made. |
