| Talchar06-12-05, 07:21 AM | In a recient game a couple of issues came up. I would like to hear some thoughts on how to deal them 1) A third level Sorcerer gets slammed by a Vampire. (Yes it was overkill, but it happened. ) The Sorcerer has 10 hit points. Per the rules the Sorcerer gains a penalty of the -10 hit points. How would you handle the issue? 2) A 5th level Druids multi-classes to gain the abilities of a 1st level cleric. Can the Druid/Cleric, spontanously convert druid spells into healing spells? |

His maximum hit points will be 3, plus three times whatever his con modifier is. 2. No. He can only convert his cleric spells to cures. Likewise, he can only convert his druid spells to summon natures ally. |

It appears that the sorcerer maxs out at 0 until the negative levels are addressed. You state that his hit points is 3. How do you figure? I agree with the convertion of cures and summon animals, do you have any reference on point? |

If your Con modifier is negative, your minimum is still 1 / HD. Although you can take damage to reduce you below this, your "fully healed" total is a minimum of 1 / HD. Even with negative levels. |
