A few questions about Awaken [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-09-05, 11:27 AM I have a some questions regarding the Awaken spell:
Do the two additional HD enlarge the Animal when so indicated in the advancement field? Do You recalculate all the former HD to magical beast (so increase HP base Attack and so on)?

06-09-05, 11:49 AM 1) No. Awakening changes their type, they no longer are the original type, so they don't get large.

2) No you don't recalculate everything.
