Some touch spells allow you to touch multiple targets. You can touch as many willing targets as you can reach as part of the casting, but all targets of the spell must be touched in the same round that you finish casting the spell. 2.) Effect targets "Allies" a.) are familiars allies b.) are summoned creatures allies ? c.) are creatures under mind control/ influence allies ? Yes on all accounts. 3.) Damage effects in/ under water ? a.) what happens to a Lightning Bolt cast in/ under water ? No change. It is magic, not straight electricity. b.) -//- fireball ? Fire: Nonmagical fire (including alchemist’s fire) does not burn underwater. Spells or spell-like effects with the fire descriptor are ineffective underwater unless the caster makes a Spellcraft check (DC 20 + spell level). If the check succeeds, the spell creates a bubble of steam instead of its usual fiery effect, but otherwise the spell works as described. A supernatural fire effect is ineffective underwater unless its description states otherwise. The surface of a body of water blocks line of effect for any fire spell. If the caster has made a Spellcraft check to make the fire spell usable underwater, the surface still blocks the spell’s line of effect. c.) snowstorm ? d.) windblast ? Unchanged. Thank you in advance for this little of your time :) You are welcome. |

Spells requiring "Touch/ creature touched" Can I "tuoch" more than one creature/ person at once or does this mean one creature/ person at a time ?PH index: "touch spells 176 / in combat 140". Either of these will answer your question. 2.) Effect targets "Allies" a.) are familiars allies b.) are summoned creatures allies ? c.) are creatures under mind control/ influence allies ?PH glossary pg 304: "A creature friendly to you. In most cases, references to "allies" include yourself." 3.) Damage effects in/ under water ? a.) what happens to a Lightning Bolt cast in/ under water ? b.) -//- fireball ? c.) snowstorm ? d.) windblast ?DMG index: "underwater combat 92,93" MrkGrismer has already given you the fireball rules. Personally, I'd rule that lightning bolt worked fine and house rule that the other two can't function underwater, at least without modification. |

You can touch as many willing targets as you can reach as part of the casting, but all targets of the spell must be touched in the same round that you finish casting the spell. It should be noted this only works with spells that get multiple charges. you can't cast one cure light wounds and have it effect all of your allies within reach for example because it disharges and is gone after the first touch. |

In combat, touching enemies, you get one creature per touch, and one touch per iterative bab. In combat touching allies, you may touch one person as a Standard Action, or upto 6 as a Full Round Action. Out of combat, you may arrange to touch as many allies as you want with a single touch. Attempting to touch an unwilling person out of combat instnatly makes it combat. 2.) Effect targets "Allies" a.) are familiars allies Yes, but your own familiar can share your spells for free b.) are summoned creatures allies ? yes c.) are creatures under mind control/ influence allies ? Yes |
