| ZiggZagg04-02-07, 10:51 AM | Hey y'all! I am wondering if there are any Warlock Invocations that are good at emulating Greater Dispel Magic. I have a Warlock that is going to be a kind of mage hunter/killer. Vorascious Dispelling is good and I will be using that to counter spell at the lower to mid levels, but past that I need something stronger. Devour magic only works on a touch, so that is out. I am looking for an invocation that acts as Greater Dispel Magic so I can use it as the targeted version and use it for counter spelling. Thank you for your help! |

| ZiggZagg04-02-07, 01:54 PM | Also, can Vorasious Dispelling be used as a counter spell? |
| maskimus04-02-07, 07:01 PM | Yes, it can. It acts as the Dispel Magic spell with the added bonus of doing to the victim. Kind of like Dispel Magic + Reciprical Gyre/1.5:D |

| ZiggZagg04-03-07, 09:20 AM | Caster's Lament works with a touch though, unless I am reading it wrong. Is Voracious Dispelling the only Targeted Dispel Invocation the Warlock Gets? If so, that sux. It might be time to ask the DM to create a new Invocation. What do you think the level of a Invocation that acts as Vorascious Dispelling, but uses Greater Dispel magic, would be? |
