lordmolay 05-20-05, 12:04 PM	So one of my charters is a Sorcerer who is taking the prestige class elemental savant… He just did something in my game that Made him Take a Special Template Call the sign of the Smoking eye along with other benefits he Also gained a level adjustment of +1. He was find with all of this except now he can't reach 9th level spells… (Normally a Sorcerer would get (the level spells but with 2 not spell caster levels in elemental savant he would get them at 20 and now with the Modify effective charter level he dose not get them now) He asked me if there was a way to get ride of the template or gain a spell casting level I told him no and plan to stand my ground. However I told him that I would find a way to get him he spell casting level but I'm not sure how yet. Epic level Sorcerer dose not gain new spell (at least not how I read it) Dose anyone have any suggestions? Maybe a Magical Item?

While his character may be Epic once he gets 20 ECL, if his character only has 19 or less sorceror/sorceror equivelent prestige class levels, taking additional sorceror levels acts as normal. It is only when your caster level has hit 20 that taking additional levels does not increase the spells/etc.
