06-05-07, 09:05 PM Could someone give me the 5 best first lvl and the 4 best second lvl powers for a Soulknife1/Psion4(Kineticist)

Im not looking for a discussion, I just don't own any of the psion books. I got D&D for friday and I can't seem to dl any of the books.(Very annoying.)

A very very good online resource for all things DnD is

Check under the section "Psionic Rules," it lists powers, feats, items, monsters and the like.

Vigor, Force Screen, Energy Ray, Entangling Ectoplasm, and Far Hand are usefull first level powers.

Concussion Blast, Energy Push, Levitate (Psionic), Knock (Psionic), and Tounges (Psionic) are good scond level powers. Biofeedback is especially good for low levels.

You should go through and pick the powers that seem right for you. The powers that begin with energy such as "Energy Blast" and "Energy Ray" are my favorites because you can change energy types on the fly. And every "Energy" power is augmentable. You should really give us more info and choose the powers to best fit your style of play.

06-05-07, 10:09 PM I just don't own any of the psion books.Then you probably shouldn't be playing a psion. Especially when you want us to spoon feed answers without giving us any hint at what your campaign is like, what else is in the party, what environment you are likely to play in, the flavor of the game, the DM's style, your play style, the other players in the group, etc.

The best psion powers are the ones that fit your character concept, your campaign, your play style and your needs.
