Alright, here's the deal: I'm making a level 6 Warlock for an upcoming D&D game with some friends. So far, my invocations are: Baleful Utterance, See Unseen, Spiderwalk, Walk Unseen, and Voracious Dispelling.

I took Extra Invocation, if you're wondering why I've got 5 invocations at level 6. I have also taken a feat (with my DM's permission) that allows me to make a skill a class-skill -- I used it on Move Silently, that way I can use Walk Unseen more effectively. My character's got 18 Charisma.

Now, of course, for the "help" part of my post -- I really, really think Charm could be quite a lot of fun, and it could be useful. However, I'd have to sacrafice a Lesser Invocation, and as I'm not willing to give up invisibility, that would mean losing Voracious Dispelling. So, do you think that would be worth it? The DC of 18 for Charm kind of worries me.

Also, I've read that the target form of Shatter (for Baleful Utterance) only works on non-magical items, like the area-of-effect version. That sort of confuses me; in the AoE description, it specifically states that it only effects non-magical items (" Used as an area attack, shatter destroys nonmagical objects of crystal, glass, ceramic, or porcelain."), but in the target description, it only states "you can target shatter against a single solid object, regardless of composition, weighing up to 10 pounds per caster level.", which makes me believe that target-shatter can effect magical items.

Thanks in advance; any other advice for my character is welcome as well.
