After reading the XPH a bit too long I came to like Shapers, a Psion variant I've previously disliked greatly. While conteplating Astral Constructs it dawned on me that there are also constructs made of pure Incarnum. Yet, only mages can create them. What the...?, I asked myself.

The Midnight Crown is intended to correct that oversight.
In it's current form it's a bit raw (the flavour in particular needs work) and may very well be overpowered, as well.

Have constructive criticism? Fire away! (Even if it's a reason why this meld shouldn't exist)

Eyes of the Night/Midnight Crown
Descriptors: None
Classes: Incarnate, soulborn
Chakra: Crown
Saving Throw: None

A purple-black crown settles upon your head. It is simple, angular and circletlike. While the crown is on your head, you are unnaturally sensitive to magical auras, though the main purpose of this meld is to shape constructs made of pure Incarnum

Unbound: As Disenchanter Mask

Crownbound:

The crown seems to negate a minute amount of the light while you're indoors.

Conjures Midnight Constructs.
Rules much as bound Necrocarnum Circlet
(except the need for a corpse, obviously).

Essentia invested=essentia available to tool the construct at time of conjuring. The only way to free up the essentia powering a construct is to dismiss the construct. Though essentia cannot be removed, you can add extra capabilities to a construct. These extra essentia become likewise locked. You may allow temporary essentia increases to benefit the Construct, though the Construct is dismissed when the increase ends. Detect Magic behaves normally regardless of the Construct's use of temporary essentia boosts.
