a non-dispellable polymorph [Archive] - Wizards Community

Is there any way to %100 never be able to be "un-polymorphed" through dispell?

Something with an "instantaneous" duration spell like polymorph?

As far as preventing dispelling, just jack your caster level to higher than 45. Greater Dispel Magic caps at 40 and Reaving Dispel is 45, so with a caster level higher than that, you're safe.

Yes PoA can be Dispelled.

As far as preventing dispelling, just jack your caster level to higher than 45. Greater Dispel Magic caps at 40 and Reaving Dispel is 45, so with a caster level higher than that, you're safe.

Looks like I'll have to go to the char ops board to see how this is done.

No need to go anywhere except your DMG. The Red Wizard Prc can easily generate a caster level of at least 40 via Circle Magic. It starts getting even crazier if they start casting spells from their specialized school with specific gear on.
