A question about Chill Touch [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-08-06, 04:17 AM I am a bit confused with this spell.

The description says that each touch inflicts 1d6 points of damage of negative energy and that you can use the touch attack up to one time per level. But the duration of the spell is instanteous.

So, how long does the hand stays charged? Is it permanent until discharged of do you deliver one touch for 1d6 points of damage per level?

04-08-06, 04:21 AM So long as you dont cast another spell, you can hold the charge on chill touch for as long as needed to use up all your attacks. You are still limited by your BAB when it comes to how many iterative attacks you get in a round.
