In this spell template under the "Saves: it say's that a living spell has normal saves for a creature of the ooze type(no good saves). Where can I find the rules for no good saves.

Go to your Player's Handbook. Look at the entry for any class other than Monk. At 1st level at least one of the saving throws will be +0. That is the bad saving throw progression. Simply cross reference that line with the class level that equals your creature's number of hit dice and you'll have the appropriate saving throw modifier.

For example, a creature with 6 HD and a bad saving throw would have a modifier of +2.

Equation: 1/3 ECL
ECL = Class HD + Racial HD (if any) + LA (if any)

FYI.

Sorry, it's not 1/3 ECL. Just 1/3 HD with that save as a bad one, whether or not they're racial or class HD.
