Hi, i'm playing a TWF ranger, and i was wondering if there was anyway I would be able to grab a Quarterstaff and Shillelagh it. Would I be able to research the spell? I don't want to take a level dip as a druid (armor class restrictions and such)

I say ask your DM if you can research it - he's the only one who can tell you wether or not you can be successfull.

theres a feat in the complete arcane that lets any spall caster learn any spell from anywhere as long as its 1 lvl lower then their highest lvl spell slot but i dont think its worth it as a feat for a ranger
