| tridiak03-16-08, 03:15 AM | If you could select one spell for all human beings, that could be used once per day, what would it be? Excluding the obvious : Create Food & Water (and clones) and all Heal/Cure spells. |
| zeratulcraft03-16-08, 03:22 AM | Wish. |
| tridiak03-16-08, 03:46 AM | Wish. Give everyone Wish!? So much for the world's population problem. |
| Seeker9503-16-08, 07:41 AM | Remove disease. It's not a heal/cure spell! :P Aside from that, the only other one I would comfortably grant to all of humanity is prestidigitation. All the others involve power that I would not want to see in the hands of my former neighbor, much less usable by the folks we see making headlines on TV every night. |
| Rune_Munch03-16-08, 11:06 AM | Dominate Person; Chaos follows. |
| Avatar of Kokusho03-16-08, 11:20 AM | Prestidigitation; that way, the world's water supply would be a bit safer (clean using the spell, of course), rice wouldn't taste like crap, and I could make pizza-flavored broccoli for my kids so they'd eat it. |
| BilopTheFleshwarper03-16-08, 02:50 PM | 1 spell... for every human to be able to cast 1/day....hmmm.... it would need to be something that is good... useful... and not wholely unbalance for everyone to be able to do.... I'm thinking the Wu-jen spell that basically turns you into a god for a while... then you die. extremely useful, very good, and hardly abusable. |
| Meloku03-16-08, 03:39 PM | ^'s Trancend Mortality Unseen Servant (or Servant Horde, etc) would be nice, as would Mage Hand or Mage Hand, Greater |
| Salla03-16-08, 06:08 PM | Fox's Cunning or Owl's Wisdom, aka MAKE THE STUPID STOP. |
| Bloodsoul03-16-08, 08:38 PM | Otto's Irresistible Dance |
| Fireclave03-17-08, 04:17 AM | Power Word Kill, to hasten the inevitable conclusion. Or Flight of the Dragon. Who wouldn't love to be able to fly, and be able to do so all day? |
| Rune_Munch03-17-08, 07:03 AM | Heh, Power Word Kill would promote a more polite society :) Imagine if everybody was able to kill you at a moments notice. No more door to door sales men, and no more rude people in line at the super store. |
| Sarig the Genie03-17-08, 07:58 AM | Heh, Power Word Kill would promote a more polite society :) Imagine if everybody was able to kill you at a moments notice. No more door to door sales men, and no more rude people in line at the super store. ...so it'd be like everyone carried guns around at all times? (; I can see how that'd make people more polite (; |
| Seeker9503-17-08, 08:31 AM | Sarig for the win. :tiphat: |
| Naderion03-17-08, 09:38 AM | and I could make pizza-flavored broccoli for my kids so they'd eat it. Now you are giving me ideas... Cooking brocoli together with tomatos, meat, and salt... |
| Selgard03-17-08, 09:56 AM | Simulacrum. Then everyone can have someone else doing those hideous chores for them. ;p |
| Seeker9503-17-08, 10:47 AM | Simulacrum: Then everyone can have someone else doing those hideous chores for them. How many wives would have their simulacrum stationed in the bedroom? |
| Belkar03-17-08, 04:38 PM | Okay... to answer the OP's question realistically - if you want to give a single Sp to a human per day... it would need to be a cantrip, probably. I'd suggest guidance. It's a 0 level orison that really fits with the "human theme" of being highly adaptable and skillful. |
| M-bark03-17-08, 04:51 PM | Prestidigitation. If you could Metamagic it, there'd be nothing you couldn't do with it. It's like wish for 1st-level casters. |
