a spell to create a half-fiend? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-16-05, 01:40 PM I seem to remember there being a spell in one of these oodles of books that permanently gave the target the half-fiend template (short of wish). Can anyone remember what and where?

12-16-05, 02:32 PM Lost Empires of Faerun has the Nar Fiendbond spell. It's a 7th level cleric/wiz/sorc and does just that.

12-16-05, 09:12 PM There is also Searing Seed in Dragon 300. You target a living creature. If they fail their saving throw, they are impregnated with a half-fiend version of their own self which bursts forth in full power with several rounds. It has exactly the same abilities of the original, an evil alignment, and the half-fiend template. Of course, it hates the original creature.
