I think fourth level seems right, as it has no saving throw and isn't energy damage, but it also only affects one target. Should it be third level?

Sectumsempra
Transmutation
Level: Sor/Wiz 4
Components: S, V
Casting Time: Standard action
Range: Close (25 feet plus five feet per caster level)
Area: Ranged touch against one target
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: Yes

A favorite attack spell for mid level arcane spellcasters with a good eye for aim, Sectumsempra causes massive lacerations to open on the target. This spell can break down walls, decommission a siege engine, or eviscerate a living opponent.

The caster must succeed at a ranged touch attack against the target creature or object. If he hits, the subject takes 6d6 points of slashing damage. Damage reduction does not offer protection from this damage, but hardness does.
