Apowerfulfoe 10-16-06, 01:37 PM	I have a lich and he has a few soul gems, so I was wondering if there are any high level spells (even epic ones) that would allow me to cast spells like Wish or Permanancey by draining exp points from the captured person in the gem. If there is not I think I might try to find a way to make one and any help would be greatly apreciated.

Purple Yin 10-16-06, 01:51 PM	the book of vile darkness has something about using souls (in maggot form) as a fuel source. i suppose you could adapt it to use soulstones.
User5127 10-18-06, 12:16 AM	souls can be used for 10xp in the creation of a magic item. a demi-lich can only have 8 gems at a time, so that means at most 80 xp for the item. mind you the demi-lich doesn't actually have to eat the soul in the gem, they just prefer to given time. i don't think you could actually use the soul to gain exp if you were a demi-lich. since by draining the sould you defeated the foe, you gain xp. :P you can't really get double xp from the same thing, unless you gave him back his soul, res'd him, and drained it again. lol
