Ability drain: permanent, does stack. eg. wraith attack, vamp. blood drain, curse spell, feeblemind ability damage: heals 1/day, does stack. eg. sword of wounding, poison, stirge blood drain, shadow attack, chill touch ability penalty: temporary (ends when condition ends), doesn't stack. eg. ray of enfeeblement, touch of idiocy |
| lint trap07-06-07, 10:42 AM | Pretty much. Two things, though. Feeblemind doesn't deal ability drain or ability damage; the Int and Cha scores drop to zero, so it's technically a penalty. And second, ability penalties do stack, but only from different sources. |

So two "ray of enfeeblement" do not stakc (only the higest apply), but a "ray of enfeeblement" with another "strenght penalty spell" will stack |
