Ability enhancing spells from Spell Compendium [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-18-06, 11:16 AM When you read the spells Bull's strength, Fox's Cunning and the others in The Spell Compendium, the duration is 1 hour/level. But the PHB says these spells duration are 1 min/level.

Has there been an errata or update I didn't know about?

02-18-06, 04:08 PM they do not appear in the book the spell compendium... there was an online list which compiled most of the spells from 3.0 into a file, which I believe was also called the spell compendium (created by some annonymous intenet person long before the SC book was even dreamed of), if that is what the initial poster is thinking of the reason for the discrepency is the change over from 3.0 to 3.5

in 3.0 the animal ability enchancing spells increased the ability score by 1d4+1 for 1 hour per level, in 3.5 they increase it by 4 for 1 minute/level.
