According to the PHB Mage Armour is a conjuration effect, and the ability only works on Abjuration, however the ability later implies that it does, stating 'Abjurant Champions rely on spells such as mage armour and shield to provied ac.' Was mage armour errata'd to be an abjuration effect? |

The "example" character they give in the book has mage armour cast on itself ... with a +9 AR bonus, indicating that that spell was improved. So they ignore their own rules... or more likely as Nobody said the writer just screwed up completely. |
