Can a rogueX/wizardX with [feat : Craft Magic Arms and Armor]

use his [skill:USE MAGIC DEVICE] to activate the Holy smite scroll

(or anything that can provide the same effect) in order to creat a

holy weapon?

IMO, [skill:USE MAGIC DEVICE] can not be used in this way, and

he could not creat such a weapon, am I correct?

No. The crafter must have the spell prepared. A scroll does not count as a prepared spell.

Though personally, if the person had a new scroll for every day required to make the item, I'd allow it. Not 100% legit, but since scrolls have an XP cost, I figure it's okay.

Unless they changed it in 3.5 , the crafter could make it if he/she:

1) had a scroll (and could read it successfully) for every day of the creation

-or-

2) had an item that cast the spell, and could cast it everyday that was needed in creating the item

-or-

3) had someone who has this spell assist him/her in the making of the item.
