We came up with these questions during our last meeting...

When a wizard casts a quickened spell, does it cause attacks of oppurtunity as normal, or does it not?
I believe it wouldn't since the wizard just makes a move with his fingers...

How many quickened spells can you cast during your turn? They counts as free actions, doesn't they?
Here I have no comment...

can you experienced players please help me?

Quickened Spells do not cause AoOs. (Check CombatI section of the SRD).

You are however, limited to a single quickened spell per turn.
Several abilities that duplicate the Quicken Spell effect (Simbuls's spell Sequencer for example), also count as using a quickened spell.

This is despite the fact that you can take a lot of Free Actions in your turn.

Ways to do a LOT of spells per round:

1) Cast a quickened spell
2) Use Contigency to activate another spell.
3) Cast Time Stop and cast several buffing spells.
4) Cast Shapechange into certain rare creatures that can do multiple spells a round.
5) Get an intelligent magic item/familiar that can cast a spell.

Trivially answered just by reading the description of the Quicken Spell feat.

QUICKEN SPELL [METAMAGIC]

Benefit: Casting a quickened spell is a free action. You can perform another action, even casting another spell, in the same round as you cast a quickened spell. You may cast only one quickened spell per round. A spell whose casting time is more than 1 full round action cannot be quickened. A quickened spell uses up a spell slot four levels higher than the spell’s actual level. Casting a quickened spell doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity.

Special: This feat can’t be applied to any spell cast spontaneously (including sorcerer spells, bard spells, and cleric or druid spells cast spontaneously), since applying a metamagic feat to a spontaneously cast spell automatically increases the casting time to a full-round action.

Thanks. I couldn't read the description since my book is somewhere here, but I don't know where

Thanks again though :D

A wonderful reference when you can't find your books is the SRD. Doesn't have everything in it, but it does have most of the rules. The official source (a bunch of .rtf files) is at

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35

while

http://www.geocities.com/sovelior/srd/home.html

is an HTML version of the SRD that I personally prefer.
