Banatine 06-22-07, 11:24 AM	This has probably been done several times before, but i would like to ask tyhe question all the same. Using the spell research rules from the DMG, would it be broken to 'research' spells from other class spell lists. In particular, could I ,as a duskblade, 'research' the haste spell? What about fly, expeditious retreat and invisibility (because their swift versions are an absolute waste of resources)? Thanks for the help!
Number 2 06-22-07, 11:35 AM	A direct conversion from one class list to another is generally not approved by our DMs. That's why we have class specific spell lists. Now, adjusting levels of the spells, or effects can make them an option. Examples are when you see a spell that is on one spell list, and then appears again on another but at a different level. For one class it's a level 1 spell, but for another to balance it, it's a level 2. Make sense??? :whatsthis
