I love Spell Domain Clerics. But they do need spell books, and these can be a weakness. Now the latest version of Anyspell does not have you acrually study the spell you will prepare at the end of its casting time, but rather, allows you to do so.
So as long as the focus, specifically the spell to be cast in arcane form, is on hand, it should work fine.Absorb Weapon allows weapons that are Light Weapons to you at the time of casting,to be absorbed into your forearms. For hours at a time.
The questions then are:
-How big can/must a spellbook be in order to count as a Light(Improvised)Weapon to a Medium Character?
-Would this provision:"To cast a spell, you must be able to speak (if the spell has a verbal component), gesture (if it has a somatic component), and manipulate the material components or focus (if any)", require that the
printed spell be in hand, or is "in arm" good enough?

If we can solve these questions , I have others, like "What Light Weapon should I inscribe Runes on?" and "Can a Rune on a weapon absorbed into an arm be considered "touched" for the purpose of activation?"

1.How big can/must a spellbook be in order to count as a Light(Improvised)Weapon to a Medium Character?

A spellbook could never count as a weapon. Absorb Weapon only effects weapons(target-one weapon). It can not effect anything else.

2.Would this provision:"To cast a spell, you must be able to speak (if the spell has a verbal component), gesture (if it has a somatic component), and manipulate the material components or focus (if any)", require that the
printed spell be in hand, or is "in arm" good enough?

Yes, you'd need the spell in hand to read it. To get the spell from 'in arm' is a silly as getting the spell from your spellbook that is in your backpack.

3.Now you could inscribe runes on a light weapon(any medium sized object) and absorb it. And no you can't 'touch' it when it's absorbed...anymore then you can 'touch' any other magic item that is against your skin and use it.

Actually, I think possessing the focus is enough - Clerics often have their divine focus as part of their shield or armor, for instance.

As for the spellbook - I'm going to say 4 lbs, because that's the heaviest light weapon - the Light Mace. However, that's not much of an issue when combined with another spell: Shrink Item. A spellbook is not inherently a magical item, and thus can be shrunk down to about the size of a matchbook. Then, just get a weapon with a hollow head or handle and put the spellbook inside.

Well a spell book can be made of almost anything, including metal foil.
If you've ever seen an old cop show, you might have seen suspects roughed up with a phone book. But its still a lousy weapon, so I can see disallowing it.

The thing about the spell book is that its a focus-it doesnt need to be read, although you are allowed to do so during the long casting time of Anyspell.

The Rune thing is another question. Runes are often magical traps. If I am sitting on a chair incribed with a Rune of Inflict Light Wounds, most would say I activate said rune every round I occupy said chair. Same thing if I weild a weapon with a negative Rune incribed on the hilt.
If this is so, then having the rune inside the arm should work as well. A Runecaster can chose to let a Rune that he insribes affect him or not, thus avoiding embarassing Stoneskinning at the wrong times.
