I don't want ot sound like a newb but how it work it's differnt than spell turning because the example is disentigrate. and spell turning doesn't turn disentigrate right? Just wondering! the new one is in the spell compendium!

They botched the example. I noticed that as well. Disintegrate, as an effect spell, is not a legal example of an absorbable spell.

I agree, based upon the wording of the spell the example is wrong as far as disintegrate is concerned. This not all that uncommon, look at the examples in spell turning.

Indeed. The examples often dont match the descriptive text. Another example is break enchantment, which only works on spells of 5th level or lower, yet it has stone to flesh listed as an example of a spell it can remove.

Hooray for editing. :w00t:
