Acid Splash is all I need baby!!! [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-11-04, 11:36 PM This little doozy of a spell offers no save and no spell resistance. It is elemental in nature so it can be substituted. It can be energy addmixtured (though that would be a bit silly). It isn't stopped cold by a sheild spell!!!

Now for the real power of this spell. It can add all of those wonderful Fell feats onto it. At higher levels Twin it for even more effests. I'm not sure if it can be chained but it would be cool. But what all this does is make really cool effects against creatures who would otherwise have little risk of suffering some of these effects.

And now I see a thread that throws Born of the Three Thunders into the mix. Sheesh! What can't this spell do? Besides area effect stuff of course.

As a side note, Melf's Acid Arrow just got a serious boost as well with the above mentioned feats. Maybe more...because it hits 'em over and over again!

12-11-04, 11:45 PM lol! I WAS being sarcastic about the "all I need" part, but othewise it is quite a whopper! It's zero level which makes it nice more metamagic. Plus it's cool to destroy the BBEG's shirt. ;)

But think about it. A level one Sorc or Wiz could Fell Weaken someone. By level four you could start Fell Draining or Fell Frightening.

It's soooo great I can't contain myself!!! :D Well, I can but it's still pretty cool. Got any other ideas for this little number?
