Activating a scroll/wand/rod with a swift or immediate spell [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but does anyone know definitively if casting a swift spell (wraithstrike, for example) from a wand is a swift action or a standard action? If you have specific evidence that it is a swift action, can you refer me to the appropriate source?
