Can anyone make any suggestions on how to handle new spells for divine casters? Specifically, I mean spells from accessories such as Complete Divine; since Clerics, Druids, etc. know all of the PHB spells on their list, do they automatically know these new spells as well? Or, should they have to research them in some way?

As a DM that is upto you. Personally, I have found that the spells known method from Szatany's Ultimate Cleric fits perfectly for addressing the problem of "being able to prepare a billion and one spells."

Basically the method is divine casters can prepare a divine spell they are aware of upto 20 different spells per level (Not including domains). Normally this changes nothing, but what it does is it solves the "as the list grows the cleric gets more powerful & versatile" problem without really nerfing divine casting.

Spells they are aware of are one's they've spellcrafted, researchod or been informed from their deity or other casters have taught them. Generally I have that mean anything that's been WotC released or in their backstory... but I make new spells for my world so it's fun to have new spells for my players to learn - and know they are balanced because it was made by me.
