Hi, :D
Can anyone tell me if:
1) u can add spells to a magic ltem?
{i.e. l take the Ancestral Relic feat instead of adding a ability at level 5 l add a spell of that level to, and would it be ok to have the spell cast only 1 per day ?}
2) can u add a magic weapons/Items power to another Item
{i.e. Say l have a +2 warhammer and l have a +1 frost longsword could l add the +1 frost to the warhammer and make it a +3 frost warhammer and not have to pay ? in the prosses the longsword would be distroyed}

The reason l'm asking is because my DM is boarder line on this rule :confused:

1: look at the charts on DMGp284-5 for guidelines if you want to just add spells to items (you can figure an indication of the new cost). could you be a little more specific with the bracketed question?

2: no... magical properties are bound to the items in which they are put, and moving them back and forth like you suggested should be impossible.

3. Get a DM who has a slightly better grasp of the rules. Or at least encourage him to read the rules. They are pretty straight-forward. :D
