Additional uses for Wish/Miracle [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-04-05, 06:44 AM Just wondering if there's a thread around here that could give some alternate possible uses of the Wish and Miracle spells that aren't listed in the spell description, or if any of y'all could give some of your own unique uses.

12-04-05, 07:07 AM As an old hat of DnD, my view on nonstandard (not listed in the book) uses of these spells is as follows;

BAD IDEA

Personally, I would rather take five draws from a Deck of Many Things without casting Augury.

12-04-05, 07:35 AM The closest guideline I can think of is if wish/miracle can duplicate a spell that comes closest to fulfilling your request, or if the effect costs 25000gp or less(perhaps a magic item or the like). If so, the dm should grant it. If it is outside of these boundaries, then watch out.
