I had a question about the Halruaan Elder's Adroit Casting ability. In it's description it says that if the H.E. doesn't have a metamagic feat that he can apply his ability to, then it just waits until he aquires one so he can apply it. My question is that if I used the Chameleons floating feat to gain a metamagic feat that can be used with Adroit Casting, what happens the next day when you change the feat?. Would the Adroit Casting ability become inert again until you pick another metamagic feat?. If so, could that Adroit Casting be used over and over again on different metamagic feats? Thanks all in advance.

I would have it apply to that metamagic feat, and make that choice non-reversible. Thus, said ability only kicks in when the metamagic feat in question is used.
