Alright, so I'm plotting out a warmage for an upcoming campaign. The Advanced learning ability seems nice; I can expand my spell list. So, 11th level isn't too bad; I chose wall of force, which is a great spell even if it isn't damaging, and I think fits a warmage just fine. 6th level is a little tougher; I ended up tentatively deciding on resonating bolt (CA). But 3rd level is the killer. Lets see, a spell of either level 0 or 1, from the evocation school, that I don't already have. Here's my list so far:

Tenser's Floating Disk
Lantern Light (BoED, so only if I'm a really nice guy)

My character concept, being a half-shadow dragon drow, doesn't really fit with lantern light, eh? I've been scouring my books, but haven't had any luck yet. Any help?

Oh. I didn't see the post further down this page. Well, any suggestions are still welcome here!

Ah, Magic of Faerun, how I love thee!
I now have many more spells to choose from, assuming the DM allows them.
Of course, its a planar campaign, so he'll probably be pretty lenient.

Tenser's Floating Disk is a damn handy spell though. I played a warmage once and that spell saved our party a couple times. I would'nt pass it up so easily. Good luck.
